Cacapon State Park Project Advances (October 3, 2014) — Morgan County Commissioner Stacy Dugan issued the following statement about the push to expand Cacapon State Park: “Good news to share! The WV Legislature finished our regular session last week and a week-long extended session. “The $24 million project for improvements at Cacapon State Park was finalized. The project includes a 79-room lodge addition with a spa and pool. This is great news for Morgan County and our struggling tourism industry.

Enjoying Bluegrass Music at the Park

Enjoying Bluegrass Music at the Park (August 3, 2014) — Cacapon South residents gathered at Berkeley Springs State Park in downtown Berkeley Springs, WV to enjoy bluegrass music. The concert was one of a series produced by the Morgan County Arts Council each summer.  Concerts, which feature jazz and bluegrass artists, are held at 5:30 pm on Saturdays July through August.  Local businesses help sponsor the community event.
