(Berkeley Springs, WV – September 4, 2018) — The Cacapon South Board of Directors recently signed an agreement with Weaver Paving to pave Indian Run Lane in August, but thanks to the never-ending Monsoon season this year, that date has slipped (yet again) to Friday, September 7th. The paving contractor has indicated that they will prepare the driveways of affected property owners on Wednesday, September 5th and move to the preparation of Indian Run Lane on Thursday morning. The actual paving of Indian Run Lane should commence on Friday the 7th.
A new road in four days time
The project should be completed in 4 days, with typical working hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On the first day and the fourth day, the homeowners on Indian Run will have access with minimal delays lasting up to 10 minutes. On the second and third day, the homeowners will have limited access, with delays lasting as long as one hour. Before 7 AM and after 5 PM, the homeowners will have full access on every day of the project.
In previous years, Weaver has staged their equipment on unpaved roadways in our development. This year Weaver will be using Purple Finch Lane as their staging area for the project. The homeowners along the staging area should have full access to their homes at all times, and all debris and trash will be removed from the site when Weaver has finished. The staging area should be well monitored.
