(May, 2017) — Morgan County Commissioner Stacy Dugan shared news about a victory for funding improvements at Cacapon State Park.
“Good news to share!” Dugan wrote. “The WV Legislature finished our regular session last week and a week-long extended session. The $24 million project for improvements at Cacapon State Park was finalized.
“The project includes a 79 room lodge addition with a spa and pool. This is great news for Morgan County and our struggling tourism industry. A great legislative victory. I am hopeful we can begin the groundbreaking very soon,” she said, ending with a “big thanks” to project supporters.
